5. How long does it take to build and deliver an ErgoChair?
Typically, from the point of order confirmation, it takes around 4 to 6 weeks for the chair to be manufactured and delivered.
6. Is there a discount for bulk orders?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for orders of 5 chairs or more.
7. What type of surface is the ErgoChair suitable for?
The ErgoChair is designed for both carpet and hard surfaces. We offer different types of casters to best suit the surface where the chair will be used.
8. Do you accept Purchase Orders from school systems or corporations?
Yes, we gladly accept Purchase Orders from school systems and corporations.
9. What is your return policy?
Due to the custom nature of our products, we only accept returns in case of manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
10. Where are the chairs manufactured and shipped from?
Our chairs are manufactured and shipped directly from Ontario, Canada.
11. Are there any additional shipping costs?
No, there are no additional shipping costs for orders within the United States and Canada.
12. How do I choose the right size chair?
We assist you in determining the correct size and features for your ErgoChair. To ensure a perfect fit, we will need some specific measurements from the intended user. Please refer to our Technical Details page or contact us directly for more information.
13. Can I get help with my medical insurance claim for the ErgoChair?
We are more than happy to provide all the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, we do not handle insurance claims directly.
14. What is covered under your warranty?
Our chair manufacturer, ergoCentric, provides a lifetime warranty for all of its Office Seating products against defects and functional failure of materials including the pneumatic lift, as long as the chair is in use by the original purchaser. However, there are exceptions to this warranty:
- The mechanisms, arms, foam, and fabric are covered for ten years from the date of purchase.
- Vinyl is warranted for five years from the date of purchase.
15. What fabric and color options do you offer for your chairs?
Our chairs are available in a variety of fabrics, each designed to enhance the ergonomic function of the chair. Our ergoCentric Approved Fabrics have been tested for quality, durability, and ergonomic function when used on our chairs. Here are the available fabric options:
- Woven: Air Knit (Grade 1), Open House (Grade 1), Punch Card (Grade 1), Teknit (Grade 3)*
- Leather: Madras
- Other: Nytek (Grade 6), Frixion (Grade 6), Nymatrix (Grade 8)*
- Teknit is not offered with tailored upholstery.
- The lead time for Nymatrix is 15 days.
- Due to color variations on different monitors, the actual fabric color may vary from what’s viewed.
